Troubleshooting
Why is my eSIM connecting to the wrong network?

Quick answer
Your phone chooses a roaming partner automatically, and it does not always pick the best one. If data is poor, select a network manually from the supported networks listed with your own package.
Why this happens
- Automatic selection often favours the first network that answers, not the strongest or fastest.
- Once attached, a phone tends to stay on a network even after a better one becomes available.
- Your package works only on its own list of partner networks. Attaching to any other operator gives you no data.
How to select a network manually
- iPhone: Settings > Cellular > select the eSIM line > Network Selection, turn Automatic off, and choose a supported network.
- Samsung Galaxy: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators, with the eSIM line selected.
- Google Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select the eSIM > Automatically select network, turn it off, then choose.
- Wait up to a minute for the phone to register on the chosen network.
Important
Only choose networks that appear on your package's supported list. Selecting an unsupported operator will leave you without data. If manual selection does not help, set it back to Automatic - leaving it fixed can stop the phone reconnecting as you travel.
