How do I install an eSiMAZE eSIM via a QR Code on my iOS device?

Quick answer

Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM and choose the option to use a QR code, then point the camera at the QR code from your order. Because the phone uses its own camera, display the code on a second screen - a laptop, tablet, or printout.

Steps

1. Open your eSIM QR code on another screen, or print it.
2. On the phone, connect to Wi-Fi and go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM.
3. Choose the QR code option and scan the code.
4. Confirm the plan when iOS asks, then label the line.
5. Select the new line for mobile data and apply the roaming setting your package specifies.

If the code will not scan

• Increase screen brightness and hold the phone steady about 15-20 cm away.
• Enlarge the code. A small code on a phone screen is often too dense to read.
• Clean the camera lens and avoid glare or reflections.
• If scanning still fails, use the same order's manual details instead. It installs exactly the same eSIM.

Important

An eSIM QR code can normally be used only once, and only on one device. If you have already installed this eSIM, scanning again will fail - that is expected, not a fault.
